Ferrall Pools & Spas

We had Ferrall service our pool for many years. This included yearly opening and closing as well as purchasing new liners, pumps, heaters, etc. We were long time customers. This past year we had a new patio area build around our pool. During the process the pool liner pulled away from the wall. We called Ferrall and explained the issue. Mike from Ferrall came out and was upset with us because we put in a new deck and patio without contacting him. Rather rude. This was in early April and we asked them to replace our liner. The response we got was that there were eight people ahead of us and they might be able to replace the liner by the end of August. So we were suppose to have no use of our pool all summer. I’ve had my pool 10 years. Ferrall put the pool in as well as open and close. They guide me to maintain my beautiful pool every year. Great company. Great family owned business. Highly recommend.

Poor handoff process post sale. I had to go to a chemical supplier in Akron to understand what to do as the service/support at Farrell was very poor. Additionally, within the first year of pool ownership, the generator went bad. I called Pentair and they informed me that Farrell was only able to sell the product, not service or warranty the product. Once the pool was installed I went back to Farrell in need of maintenance chemicals. Farrell does not extend any discount off chemicals for their own customers. Again, had to go to Akron for a price competitive chemical supplier. I suggest looking into more price competitive pool installers. They all use about the same grade products, but price more competitive.

Wonderful and very helpful staff. I have never owned a hot tub and they walked me through the entire set up and maintenance process. Thank you Ferrall pools!
