I have only used this service for a couple of months but I have had to cancel. I started using them for irrigation, lawn care and mowing. I asked for an estimate for mulching and pruning my front flower beds, which they provided. This included a line item for mulching ($356) and another for “cleaning up beds before mulching” ($300) which I assumed was the pruning. After other line items, the total was $748. The crew came out and only mulched, when I asked why the bushes were not pruned, I was informed that the estimate I agreed to was for mulching only and that they had provided an additional estimate for pruning for over $300, which would have pushed the total to over $1,000 for two small front flower beds. I've been with Fields Irrigation now for just over two years. Previously I had used Virginia Green and a separate irrigation company for two separate tasks. After not seeing any results from Virginia Green and also the fact that they were skipping services and still billing me for it (or not doing them at all when their technician would just sit in the truck then slap a bill on my door and leave) we decided to switch to Fields Irrigation to handle both the irrigation and lawn services. Hired Fields to kill my weedy lawn, add soil and reseed. Fields performed this work, but the lawn is bare in spots and Fields has still not fixed the issue. The lawn was seeded in Sept and now it is December. Maybe next year. In response to the owner, I will update my pictures. There is little difference today. Today your office confirmed that there is only 80% turf. Please hire Fields Irrigation if you would like an 80% lawn. I got more response to this google review than I did to my complaint that the lawn was bare in spots.
