Finco Tree and Wood Service

I had a large hackberry in my yard sustain some major damage in a storm and decided to have it removed. Finco did a great job with it, even fixing a portion of the fence that was damaged by limb fall. They cleaned everything up and were done in no time. The price was very reasonable as well. They came recommended by a couple of friends of mine and I will recommend them as well.

Went there yesterday for the first time to pick out an apple tree. Awesome tree nursery and found many apple trees to choose from, right off the truck from Wisconsin! In the ground and ready to enjoy the end of summer and fall season. Awesome experience all around. Highly recommend a visit! Beautiful country out just a few miles south of Ames.

Mr. Tornado blew a tree on to our humble, rural home during Memorial Day weekend. I called Finco. The "Tree Cavalry" arrived shortly after noon. They cut a path for the gas company to remove the damaged LP tank, and then turned their attention the huge 100-year-old white oak that was on our roof. I never saw such productivity before! The evening shadows were just beginning to get long when the Finco "Tree Cavalry" crew finished their tree removal job and clean-up. ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! Price was reasonable, service was excellent and quality and safety were astounding! Our yard is a little bumpy where the equipment went to and fro, and you must expect that. Wanted to share my experience with an excellent local business. We needed some work done on the trees in our yard (pruning, removal, stump grinding) and got a couple of estimates. Not only did Finco come back with the best price, they finished the project fast! We've used them in the past, and they were able to get into tight areas in the yard that other companies said would be difficult to access. I can't say enough about how pleased we were with the final product. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing. I'm a single mom and was stuck in rural Boone county. I called everyone local and no one would come plow my driveway. A friend suggested Finco. They drove out from Ames, plowed my driveway better than anyone else ever has AND kindly helped me get my car unstuck. That was above and beyond what they were required to do.
