John did a fabulous job of restoring my painting dated 1934 and purchased at auction 20 years ago. It was badly in need of cleaning and had suffered a rip in the canvas during an accident when we moved to Florida. The repair is perfect and the color so much more vibrant. John is a charming guy to work with and a pleasure to meet.

John Zak did the initial restoration on a valuable painting from a renowned Cuban artist from the 1940s. He handled my entire transaction along the journey from discovery to sale and provided all the invaluable advisory steps that such an old, damaged vintage painting eventually required. He is probably one of the few professionals alive who was experienced enough to handle such a work of valuable art, and I was so lucky to discover him in his South Florida workspace.

I recently bought a painting by an artist I have been following for many years. The painting was in good condition with the exception that it was covered in a layer of 70-year-old grime. I found John Zak’s site and decided to risk it. I’m so glad I did! John did a wonderful job in cleaning/restoring my painting. What was a dull painting is now bright and vibrant! I just got back my Xavier Cugat "You Bet Your A$$" painting back from Mr. Zak. Once again, the work is superb! John is meticulous in his approach and careful in his application technique.
