Fine Grit

We used Katie Schindler and her team at Fine Grit to do our cabinet and island redo when we renovated our kitchen. To say they were efficient, professional, on time and on budget doesn’t even begin to tell the story. They took what could have been a very painful experience and actually made it fun. Katie and her team did what they said they were going to do and the finished product was exceptional. We give Fine Grit our highest recommendation.

Kate and her team are an absolute dream. Truly - of all the vendors and sub-contractors I've ever worked with (have built 2 homes), she is the BEST. We worked together on design, she provided detailed plans and was open to changes and brought so many wonderful ideas to the table. She was super communicative and responsive - quickly replied to emails and calls and made many site visits to ensure everything was perfect. I cannot say enough good things about Fine Grit. Custom projects can be so incredibly stressful but working with Kate was truly enjoyable and something I hope to do again soon! She is talented, creative, and dedicated to her work and her clients. Five stars across the board.

Katie and her Fine Grit Team are amazingly talented and professional. I was lucky enough to meet Katie when I was in need of cabinets that needed an update. She made me a custom paint color and re-finished my cabinets to perfection. Devin made customs shelves for my kitchen as well as some edits to my cabinet layout. My project was finished on time and I would recommend Fine Grit anytime.
