Tim Stone is an arborists who is extremely knowledgeable. We had an 80 year old Southern Magnolia tree that was growing over our house/roof and a different very high Magnolia tree growing over our roof as well and needed to be pruned. We had a few dead arborvitae trees and dead shrubs that needed to be removed (one stump ground) along with a bunch of pruning needed. This was not an easy job as our power lines go through our trees. Tim said he would work with PECO if necessary. Everything was raked and perfectly cleaned up when they were done. I highly recommend Fine Tree Care, Ltd. Thanks so much, Tim!!!

Tim is an arborists who is extremely knowledgeable. We had a 200 yr old tree that limbs were dying. Tim recommended removing the dead wood and the tree will continue being healthy. His crew also trimmed a 100+ yr old honeysuckle back from the house and thinned it out beautifully. Everything was raked and perfectly cleaned up when they were done. This was the first time my wife was EVER happy with a contractor and stated "the yard looked better than when they started." We had two trees that needed pruning and correction of improper maintenance done before we owned the house. In addition, we needed nine stumps pulled from our lawn. Tim gave us a thorough evaluation and plan to help our trees and to clear our stumps. The work done by Tim and his crew was wonderful. Our trees look much healthier and already are sprouting new growth. The grounds where the stumps were do not show any sign of them. The stumps were shredded and used to fill the holes. The contact we had with Tim and Linda was very cordial and the work was completed wonderfully. The next time we need help with our trees, we will contract with Fine Tree Care again.

I'm a new yard owner and have used Fine Tree Care twice now for very large jobs removing trees, overgrown shrubs, grinding down stumps, and pruning back what was left behind. Tim and Linda Stone are fantastic every step of the way. Tim offered expert guidance on what direction to go with some problem plantings (since I had no idea), and was patient with my indecisiveness since it was all new to me. I felt both times that their quote was very fair. The finished work was better than I imagined, everything was done and cleaned up neatly!

I called Fine Tree Care about an apple tree on the property I had recently bought. The tree was almost entirely defoliated from rust and probably other diseases as well, and I needed to know if it could be treated or if it was better to have it taken out. They responded promptly to my inquiry, and did a thorough evaluation of the tree, and recommended a course of treatment (an injected treatment now, then a follow-up treatment next spring). I also had them schedule me for pruning it next February. After the initial treatment, the tree started growing new, healthy foliage almost immediately. Tim and his team are professional and fairly priced, I will certainly use them again.
