Finish Coat Construction

We own a vacation home in Cape May, NJ. Mr. Watson gave me a bid to paint our house in October of 2019. It was agreed that the job was to be finished in July 2020. There was to be a 2 year warranty for any poor workmanship, peeling, fading, etc. Paid the down payment, but the job was not completed until October 2020 and he was paid. I was at the home in June 2021 and I noticed that a lot of the windows and the fence was peeling. I called Mr. Watson and he told me that our home was 1 of 3 he had painted using a particular Sherwin Williams paint line and that I was the second to have issues with it. DO NOT HIRE in YOUR HOME or ANYWHERE!… I’d give negative zero stars if I could. unprofessional!! Comes/go without prior communication. Always sending different people to my home to do work- which was sloppy and/or unfinished. Did not respect any of my requests and my property. Caused damage to furniture, carpet, and misplaced few things belonging in my home which were never recovered. Poor job at cleaning up after a days work. Often left debris and tools laying around- not safe with children & pets in home. Did not like when questions were asked about any work being done in my own home. Most unprofessional, messy, disrespectful man/worker ever! ! Quit after several weeks, leaving multiple unfinished work and damage done and still expected full payment.
