First Action Plumbing

The house we just bought from an investor was having leaks under the wall behind the tub into the opposite closet. We switched bathrooms only to discover that our other tub was leaking as well. I saw a thousands of dollar fix in my head. I always assume the worst. The former owner included a warranty from Choice Home Warranty with the purchase of my house. So I filed a claim and they sent out Gage and Cameron from First Action Plumbing. They looked dubious at first not gonna lie, but after they discovered the leak source the first trip I gained more confidence in them. They had to go to the store to get parts for my pipe behind wall and would come back next day, which gave me a chance to file a claim on the bathroom upstairs. I would like to acknowledge Lee for his outstanding service and caring heart. I was at Lowe’s Friday and I couldn’t fit a water heater into my SUV and he asked if he could help. He didn’t ask for anything in return for bringing it to my home which was a little bit of a drive and I truly believe God puts people in your path for a reason. I was truly blessed by his help as a single woman. My parents were with me while I was picking it up and he talked with my dad about everything I would need. He asked me who was going to put it in for me and I said Google and a prayer. He just laughed a little and I said I know shaking my head. I asked him if he would have time to help me put it in. He graciously took his time with storms pending to help me that night and for safety reasons we agreed

This company was contracted to my property by the home warranty company that covers my property the initial consultation was completed quickly everything was submitted to the warranty company shortly after it was approved and a appointment for the repair was scheduled, the night before the repairs were to be made (9pm) one of there repair technicians called me and informed me that the leak repair would cost me an additional 350 for repairs that are explicitly covered by my warranty. The day after I contacted the office and was transferred through 2 people eventually talking to the owner i was informed that they under quoted the job to the warranty company and attempted to charge me the difference the owner apologized and offered to preform the repairs with no additional charges. First Action Plumbing was dispatched by Choice Home Warranty to repair a water leak beneath kitchen. Upon arrival said it was the appliance, not the plumbing and recommended getting appliance repair. Called appliance repair who confirmed it was not the appliance but rather the PLUMBING all along. Total process ended up costing me $160: $85 for First Action to not fix the problem; $75 for appliance guy to tell me it was plumbing. First Action also over charged me for the visit. Charged $85 instead of $75 as per Choice Home Warranty. I have called several times and no answer and no return call from voicemails. They told Choice Home Warranty they would refund the $10 but that was 20 days ago. No refund has been received. Choice Warranty was also not able to get a hold of First Actio

My mother in law is a recent widow and had some work done by Jonah, a tech with the company. He failed to fix the issue and because my mother in law wrote a check from the wrong account (which she fixed immediately when they let her know) Jonah claimed she was only calling with continued problems because of the check issue. The second technician my mother dealt with made her very uncomfortable and tried following her into her bedroom to get the replacement cash. All in all because of the poor work and unprofessional nature of Jonah, and the cringy actions of the second tech, we will never use this company again and HIGHLY recommend anyone go somewhere else for plumbing needs.
