First Aid Chimney Care

Ian did an awesome job repairing our chimney. He was extremely professional and talked me through everything he was doing. He was conscientious of my newborn as well which I really appreciated. He went out of his way to recommend a better grate for our fireplace and even offered other helpful tips for first time chimney owners. He also made sure to clean up the boxes before leaving which was nice attention to detail. There’s a reason these reviews are so high. This is a belated review, but the experience I had with First Aid Chimney was exceptional. I called late in the season for a clean and cap repair, Ian was able to fit me in the following week, was incredibly efficient and professional. He also had to special order the cap and came after hours, in the dark and rainy cold weather to install and spent an hour having to customize a retrofit to make it work. He also takes videos and pictures to share the work he has done , walk you through what you are looking at, and answers any of your questions. I am beyond grateful for his work and attention to detail and would highly recommend this service to anyone. I will definitely be a regular, this is my chimney service. Thanks again Ian!

My husband and I were in the process of swapping out wood stoves when we ran into an unexpected problem. We called Ian to see if he could help. Despite a busy schedule, Ian quickly fit us in on short notice and did an excellent job replacing the stove. Ian is very knowledgeable and did professional, high quality work.
