There’s so much to say about parking here, and in the broader context of working in downtown Jax. First, the garage is older and you get what you pay for. That means having leaks when it rains, but at least your car is covered in 100 degree summers. That also means having sometimes one station to scan your entry card in the busy mornings. Depending where you work, most of the time you’re in for a 4-block walk to your destination, and this is not the exactly the safest place in Jax. Just a block north are the homeless encampments on Union Street, the deserted buildings on Pearl Street, and the skyway stations.
