My partner and I went through a really scary situation with a landlord and moving out of an apartment deeply infected with black mold. Our health and our cat's health were badly affected so we needed to minimize our exposure risk as much as possible and quickly. I'm a person who craves information and needs to make well informed decisions, and Brent explained everything throughout the process. Brent and Seth were great. They were always on time (or early!), really responsive in communication, and professional and kind. They took care of the water problem (after a plumbing issue) so there’s no worry about mold growing at home. Brent, the owner, is super knowledgeable and generous with his expertise — including in our initial phone call before he was even officially hired. No one wants to be in a position to need to hire water damage restoration specialists, but First Response makes the experience as good as possible!

We had a water leak and mold growth that was not noticed for quite some time. We reached out to First Response Water Damage, and they were responsive since the beginning. From a very competitive quote that they stick to, to being available on the phone any time, to a very friendly and professional relationship. Brent and Seth will be our "go to" people if needed in the future and can't recommend them enough to anyone looking for water remediation professionals.

This company in and of itself gets 5 stars easily. We had an urgent need for water restoration, and First Response was the one company who was able to get out immediately. Seth was friendly, professional, and reliable. I trusted him implicitly. Communication was wonderful. The only reason for the 4 stars versus 5 is due to the contractor they referred for the demo and repairs. This contractor was horrible in just about every definition of the word, including putting more work on First Response. Aside from my advise to ask for a different referral if they recommend using VM Construction for demo/repair needs, I'd highly recommend First Response.

I had water damage in my house a year ago. My wife and I had never experienced water damage before; we had no idea of what to do. After struggling for 4 hours, we decided to call a contractor. Fortunately, we found First Response. It was 11:00 p.m.; we left a message to them, and received the first response within an hour!
