First State Building & Design

I was terribly disappointed in my experience with FSBD. My project had anticipated completion time frame of 6-8 weeks. I was told by the company rep that this was a small, easy job for FSBD. My project started July 17th, 2025 with an anticipated completion date of early October. This job was not completed until AFTER 2025. 455sq’ of space took almost 6 months to complete. I was also informed that they stick to the schedule as closely as possible since they are so busy they do not have time to delay jobs and that the schedule would be constantly updated so I would be aware of work that was upcoming as well as work that has been completed. This was not my experience at all. The schedule was hardly updated and when it was it was rarely adhered to. My project actually took 24 weeks and 4 day

We had our covered patio enclosed so we could use it more often due to wind, rain, insects and pollen. The design integrated well with the original construction. Construction management addressed any issues that came up quickly. And the installation crew paid close attention to all details resulting in a great space addition to our home.

We loved working with the entire team at FSBD! From our initial meeting to the final inspection, our experience with them was excellent. They built an addition on the back of our home with a new kitchen/living space and a new deck. Everyone we worked with was helpful, patient and incredibly knowledgable in their area of the business.
