Five Star Paving

We recently had our driveway done by Five Star Paving, and I honestly don’t have enough good words to say about this company. Josh, who handled our project, was outstanding, so sweet, caring, and professional. My husband wanted gravel, I wanted asphalt, and Josh suggested milling, a mix of gravel and asphalt. It turned out absolutely beautiful. It was also a cost effective choice, right in the middle price wise, and I am so glad he guided us in that direction. Josh went above and beyond. We had an old swimming pool hole, and he offered to fill it in for free. He showed up exactly when he said he would, worked hard, and clearly cared about doing the job right. As new homeowners we have many things we wanted to update. Our first project was the driveway. Winter time was a headache always having to switch cars due to narrow driveway. Josh and his team did an amazing job repaving our old driveway but also expanded and extended it so now the headache of switching spots is solved. Amazing work, walked me through each step and did exactly what we wanted. Next year we will have them back to seal!

I just wanted to start with I normally don't write reviews for anyone regardless if they did a good job or not, but i definitely felt the need for this. About 4ish years ago I had a paved driveway put in by Josh. The main reason was because he was the best priced out there. Now I know you normally get what you pay for and I figured if there was any issues with the job being well under price from 5 other companies I got quotes from that I would be able to deal with it if that time came. At the time I had a 16x16 shed and the driveway went around it on 2 sides like an L shape. Josh ask if I wanted the driveway to angle up in front of the shed to make it easier to get in and out of there and at no extra cost. I said that would be awesome and he did it. Josh and crew were incredible to work with. I called multiple other places and didn’t even get a return phone call. Josh returned my call within hours and came out next day to give a quote. He kept me in the loop as to when he will be out and showed up on time. I had a very small job I needed completed. While he takes on large jobs, it’s nice to see somebody provide the same quality of work for home owners with small projects as well. I highly recommend using his company. Very impressed and the result was better than expected.
