Five Star Roofing

We used James Brewer and Five Star Roofing to replace the shingled roof and vinyl siding on our house. James was always available to answer any questions we had throughout the project. His crews were fast and efficient. My wife and I are very happy with the results of their work. I would highly recommend James and Five Star Roofing for any of your roofing or vinyl siding needs.

James Brewer and 5 Star Roofing replaced my roof on a commercial building in Barnwell, SC. The roof has been leaking since the very first rain after replacement. James sent non-English speaking employees to put a cover over the roof. The employees nailed the tarps to my new roofing shingles with roofing nails. The next wind blew the cover off and left unknown number of nail holes in my new roof. James has not responded to my calls, messages nor emails since the beginning of 2025. I now have to SUE 5 Star Roofing to get them to stand up to their commitment.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND 5 STAR ROOFING.

Had 5 Star replace roof in 2021. Leaked, shortly thereafter, and they did seal the area of the leak. 08/2024 leak into kitchen ceiling. Sent 2 non English speaking men to inspect. Never heard back had to call and make trip to business. I called for insurance investigation and conclusion was new flashing at chimney line put over old flashing which caused buckling and leakage. 5 Star is not taking responsibility for non functioning flashing causing leakage to kitchen ceiling. HMMM If you hire this company do a full inspection of roof and especially flashing before full payment.

Five Star Roofing named their company appropriately. They deserve five stars. My husband and I just had a brand new metal roof installed on our double wide mobile home and couldn’t be more pleased! They delivered more than we expected! The roof is beautiful! Our home is going to look better than it did when we first bought it once we paint it. The roof makes such a difference! James Brewster took the time to make sure we understood the entire process and was so polite and professional. The crew that actually installed the roof were knowledgeable, courteous, professional and showed respect for our property and us. My experience with James Brewer and 5 Star Roofing has been nothing less than awesome. I first met James when I contacted him to roof a rental property. He met with me, at my office, promptly and guided me through the process. He advised me with regards to my home owners insurance, which I was unaware would help with the cost. The job was done in record time, and with a beautiful result. Jumping forward several years, I found myself needing a roof on my home. Once again, James came for a meeting right away, advising me of all of my options. We made our selection, the materials arrived in a week and the new roof was completed in a day. It looks awesome! I am very happy with the roof, not to mention the peace of mind in knowing that the job was done professionally!
