FixTman MD

FixTman LLC was contracted to install gym equipment. Unfortunately my equipment and my ceiling was damaged. The cost for replacement parts has been quoted at $950.46 (note that this excludes repair of my ceiling). I have provided this quote to FixTman LLC at their request, though no compensation has been provided. FixTman LLC has been extremely difficult to deal with (I have been trying to resolve this for over a month) and has been unwilling to provide details of their insurer (despite advertising online that they are insured). As recently as last week (mid-to-late February), FixTman LLC has alleged that my equipment was damaged upon delivery. Hired them to build a Springfree Jumbo Oval trampoline. This is admittedly difficult. Without going into a huge amount of detail, they ignored the directions and skipped attaching the net to the springs first, and then rather than redo their work, they attached it with a rope, which resulted in a slanted and poorly secured net. I had a fixed time this needed to be ready by, and they offered to have the same tech come back out and fix it, which I did not want. I'm unsure if the tech would have been available in time. I did not want to pay due to having to basically undo and redo the hardest part of the build and they threatened me with collections. I do not recommend this company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Unfortunately I didn’t check the google reviews (only thumbtack reviews). I realize it’s because they block you on thumbtack if you have a bad experience so people only see the good reviews. Long story short my technitian took over 3 hours to put a 6 drawer dresser together and wasn’t even able to complete it. He left with my dresser falling apart saying that it’s a manufacturer issue. Later I found a missing piece hidden in my bookshelf. Prior to his arrival I laid all of the pieces out so I could throw the boxes away. It was all organized so he definitely hid a piece there because he didn’t want me to find it. They tried to offer me 10% off of a future service and I said absolutely not. And then they said I could order a new dresser and they’d fix it free. But

This company scheduled someone to come to my home to remove the blinds before my door contractor arrived — but the installer was a complete no-show. No call, no update, nothing. It was not only inconvenient for me but also delayed my door contractor’s work. I wasted time rearranging my schedule for an appointment that never happened. Based on this experience, I would never do business with this company again.

Update: after writing this review they have been contacting non stop offering compensation to update the review and make it positive. I’m adding screenshots of these emails/texts/voicemail transcript. The keep contacting to change the review and pay 20 dollars but are ignoring my messages to please fix the holes they left in the wall. This has to be one of the worst businesses I have ever encountered. We wanted our tv mounted above the fireplace. We could have done it ourselves but have a young baby so “trusted” the professionals and the satisfaction guarantee. The first workman come three hours late and clearly have no idea what they are doing. They took almost two hours, ended up just ripping the stand off the tv even when we tried to show them how to do it. When they left, the tv was
