I used FloorMax Germantown for a particularly complicated repair job following a fire that occurred at my DC condo. They did a fast, high quality job for a reasonable price and I highly recommend their services. My hardwood floors and bathroom tile look better than ever. I worked directly with Eddie Tirani who was very responsive, knowledgeable and accommodating since I needed to coordinate repairs from out of town. He took the time to come assess the damage with me on multiple occasions and promptly provided a quote and all documentation required by my insurer. He also helped me select high quality, durable materials including hardwood, tile, fiberglass insulation and other fixtures. Our salesman, Paul Shrimpton, as well as the installation crew were great to work with. In our basement, we redid the entire floor, including closets and stairs, with LVP. The crew had exceptional attention to detail, even in the closets, and did a beautiful job making all the transitions look neat and professional. I love it! We also had them replace carpeting in three bedrooms, and they did an excellent job. The crew leader was careful to discuss any concerns and point out any prior damage so we wouldn't have any questions once the job was done, which I thought was both considerate and professional. They cleaned up thoroughly, and were friendly as well. Highly recommended!

Les was the best. He was prompt and no nonsense which I appreciated. He was efficient and brought only what I told him I was looking for. He respected my time. The install was done well with no damage to my newly painted walls and base boards. The installers were prompt and polite. The carpet itself is great. The 8lb mat is soft and I love that the tack strips don’t poke through at thresholds or the steps like several other companies allow to happen as of late. I recommend to anyone looking to replace their carpet for any reason. Ordered and installed within a week.
