Florida First Landscape & Design

I hired Florida First about 4 months ago to put in a five level waterfall in my backyard- it has been the talk of the neighborhood and a wonderful addition. Since then we have done several other projects- all done perfectly and in an outstanding manner. The crew lead by John is unmatched. They are cooperative, hardworking and professional in every sense. I would/will hire them again and recommend them highly. My only regret is that i had another 5 projects to give them. They are simply the best!!!

I asked Florida First to update my landscape here in Homosassa after the hard winter and many plants dead and damaged. John, Mike and Patrick were just great to work with. They presented charming ideas within my budget. They cleaned up every day and left me with clear instructions for plant care. 5 stars!

John is a very nice guy. But several poor decisions were made. First of all price started at 5k and I was blind sided at the end when the final price was $8700. That really wouldn’t have bothered me if things were done right. I know it was a lot of work. My main complaint, HOW CAN YOU NOT PUT DOWN WEED BLOCKER?? He said it was because I was trying to save money. That’s a joke. I assumed that was going to be done. No brainer. If it would’ve been explained to me that it would have cost an extra $1000 or whatever I would have definitely said yes because after a few months the whole perimeter of the house was overridden with weeds. As you can see about half of the bushes also died. I was told I should have watered them daily but I thought he explained to me that his first goal was low maintena

We had a 22’x28’ stone patio and retaining wall installed along with 15 privacy bushes and there Sylvester palms. The team did a fantastic, meticulous, expertly executed job. John gave perfect guidance from understanding what our goals were and devised a plan. The entire team’s (Mike, Wade and Patrick) specialties is how the job pulled through with great success. John’s guidance on which planting to choose and had access to for our soil, temperatures etc. was perfect. Will hiring them again with future projects.

We were bored with our landscaping. John and his crew came out and made it look awesome! They're nice and they do good work,!
