I’ve had a run in of bad mechanics for my 1969 mustang. Mario’s shop however is by far the best experience I’ve had after switching mechanics 3 times all throughout Miami-Dade. Very fair pricing and quick turn around time. If you’re looking for a place to fix up a classic I highly recommend waiting for an opening at Florida Hotrods. Mario’s very detail oriented. His crew were able to diagnose issues the other two mechanics could not. I was pleasantly surprised when my car was returned cleaner than it was dropped off; exceptional shop!

Great experience at Florida Hotrods. The first thing I noticed was how clean and organized the shop is—it immediately gives you confidence. I took my 1970 Ford F-250 in for a Dakota Digital gauge cluster upgrade, dual electric fans, windshield wiper repair, and an alternator upgrade. Everything came out great. Mario, the owner, is super easy to talk to and very straightforward. What I really appreciated is that I never had to chase him for updates—he kept me posted daily without me asking. Overall, this is a shop where you show up with ideas or problems and they just take care of it. Highly recommend.

I’ve had some terrible experiences with other hot rod shops, so I’m extremely picky and detail-oriented when it comes to my builds. Florida Hot Rod completely delivered. Mario handled everything on my S10 LS swap — electrical, exhaust, and all the little details that other shops usually rush or mess up. The work was clean, thought-out, and done the right way. Communication was solid the entire time, and nothing felt half-ass or sloppy. It’s hard to find a shop that actually takes pride in their work, but this one does. Mario knows what he’s doing, and I have no doubt his business will continue to grow. I’d bring my truck back here without hesitation.
