FM Lock and Safe

I’ll start out with the positives. The gentleman that came to my home was very nice, as was the costumer service agent. Also, they responded very quickly. Now the concerns. I was charged an astronomical price. The gentleman was able to open my apartment door in about 5 minutes. He did not need to rekey it and there was no damage to repair. He arrived at my home before 5pm so it wasn’t after hours. That shouldn’t have mattered anyway since their website says that they don’t charge more for emergencies or night calls. So I ended up being charged $596. From doing some research online after the fact, there did not appear to be any justification for such a high charge. I’m not going to say it was a scam because he did the work and did it quickly, but the pricing was unfair and I do fe

So, here’s my short story. I was locked out of my safe because of a keypad issue, and I immediately thought it would cost $1000. I decided to call FM lock and safe and a guy named Daniel answered. I told him my situation, and he immediately suggested I check my battery. I checked it, and he insisted that I do so again. He even asked me to check the date and make sure I had a good battery. I continued asking him questions, and he kept saying that I needed to check my battery before he could give me a price. So, I replaced the battery with a new one that wasn’t expired. And guess what? My safe opened right up! I was blown away by Daniel’s honesty. I saved a ton of money. Any other shop would have probably charged me a very high price just to change the battery. So, hats off to this business

Same problem every other 1 star has, not upfront about price, though they did admit to me that if you ask, a tech "should" tell you the price, but that it can change for "difficulty" $215 for a 30 year old car. If I could give zero or negative stars I would. But the 1 star will be for how quick they got to it and done. 5 minutes from the call to them driving away. Just an unlock. Absolutely don't use them, call your insurance, call AAA, never these scammers.

Bought a Car(1 old keyfob) and decided to make 2 extra keyfob incase any emergency. Brought my own keyfobs and they were willing to program for a Reasonable Price. Highly Recommend this Place.

FM Locksmith advertises “the lowest pricing,” but that is completely misleading. I was originally handed a bill close to $5,000 for a job that should have been around $600. After pushing back, they dropped the price to $1,200, which still felt excessive. Unfortunately, it didn’t end there. The quality of the hardware is poor—the key does not properly work in the lock—and now I’m stuck waiting and hoping someone gets back to me to fix their own work. Between the bait-and-switch pricing, inflated charges, and failed workmanship, this has been an extremely frustrating experience. I would not recommend this company. Be very cautious and get everything in writing before agreeing to anything.
