We reached out to Formecology to help with a yard that was too much to manage for us as newer gardeners/homeowners. We wanted an easier to maintain backyard that used native and pollinator plants. We also had some water concerns that we wanted advice with. John and the team were timely, knowledgeable, kind and helped us get set up for the Spring! The designs proposed were well thought out and clearly showed our wants and concerns were listened to. We will absolutely be reaching out to Formecology for additional, future yard work.

Formecology has created a stunning renovation of our parking lot at Chads Design Build. We love all of the new green spaces, large rain gardens, and thoughtful layout. We will continue to utilize their services as we improve and maintain our design studio space.

Our experience with John and the Formecology team was fantastic. John answered all our questions, listened to our visions/ideas, concerns and then created two very detailed plans for our front, side and back yard. We chose them specifically for native plants and sustainability and creating an environment we can watch grow and thrive for many years to come. We also appreciate their ideas to help with erosion and to bring some color to our shady yard. They were always available for questions and had great communication and follow through. The crew and team were respectful of our property and worked hard to get the job done on a specific timeline. We look forward to our relationship with Formecology for years to come to maintain our beautiful property. We highly recommend all their services.

1-John was great to plan with. He made sure all of our needs were addressed with drainage, and added some feature steps along with landscape rocks. 2-Communication was great. They send out a questionnaire prior to starting the work. It makes you think about the things you should be prepared for, especially like communicating with your neighbors about what to expect and when. Whenever we had questions John got back to us quickly to resolve any concerns. 3-The staff were also very friendly, polite and professional. They worked in some high temperatures, but got the job done correctly and on time. Overall we loved working with everyone and would do it again if we needed to.

Formecology came highly recommended, and after using them to address the grading concerns on my property I can certainly see why. If you’re looking for peace of mind that your project will be done right I can’t recommend them enough. John and company were very helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process, from quote to completion. John met with me in person to discuss the issues and was very thorough and upfront about potential solutions and challenges. He worked with us to keep the project economical while still delivering a quality solution. I am very happy with the final product and the level of communication throughout.
