After living in Florida for over 3 years, and seeing a number of hurricanes, we decided to improve the safety and security of our home by installing Fortress Screens' hurricane screens on all our windows. We looked at various options (accordion shutters, roll down shutters, etc.) and decided Fortress Screens had a superior product that not only projected our home from storms year round, but also enhanced our home's security. An additional benefit is the added energy efficiency we get by having the hurricane screens on our windows full time. I ordered hurricane screens with installation included. I am happy with the look and I feel secure in my own home in a way that I never felt before. My son keeps throwing baseballs at them and they don't have any dents yet. He broke an impact window we had in our last place so I think he is determined to find a weakness. SMH

Not happy with owner/sales person. He knew I had an issue with the multiple panels….this is why it took me so long to sign and order! Wanted the product; however there was another way to put the screens in so that I would not have multiple panels interrupting my view. The owner/sales man’s never offered me that or told me about it before signing the contract. So when they came out to put the screens in and they messed up on the orders and had to redo 2 panels anyway….would not discuss with me how we could change this to make it the way he never offered…I know it is a business; however to him it is only about the money, not a satisfied customer!!!

We are amazed at what these screens can do. They are stronger than metal shutters, but they look so nice. As an alternative to shutters and impact windows, these are the way to go.
