I just picked up a cutting board Mark made for me from some scrap " African Mahogany" I obtained from a kitchen remodel. He did an amazing job, the piece is beautiful, and Mark is just wonderful to work with. I heartily recommend the workshop both for woodworking skills and the enthusiastic willingness to produce something custom. I think they are part of what makes River Arts the treasure it will be again.

Foundation Wood Works delivers clean craftsmanship, clear communication, and the kind of detail-oriented work you rarely see anymore — highly recommend.

Good variety of woodworking methods represented. Prices were reasonable. We got some bookmarks (why cat but not dog bookmarks?). Would also be interested in a social event there.

One of the best shops we visited while in Asheville! Lots of artists work in this same studio so you see a wide variety of woodworking styles.

What a great collection of artists under one roof. Gifts and artistically crafted furnishings for the discerning buyer. A must see.
