Fox River Grove Ace Hardware

I am a long time customer of Ace Hardware in Fox River Grove - ( been going there for 29 years)!! I was in last week and was helped by Rodrigo! He did a GREAT job of helping me find what I wanted!!! And had suggestions that proved to be very helpful!!!! However I am DISAPPOINTED in the store’s changes over the last year or so! I hate to see all the novelty “stuff” in the front of the store! It looks CHEAP and i don’t go there to buy junky gifts! I would much prefer that the store concentrate on keeping the shelves stocked AND new hardware items added. I especially noticed that the small metal area is not well stocked and I used to go often to buy those items. (( maybe J&S metals??) I hate to see the store turn into a version of a dollar store/ which is what it is looking like now!!! H

I was a customer of True Value before it became an Ace Hardware in Fox River Grove, IL. Ever since True Value sold out to Ace Hardware the management has been awful. The current manager (Rodrigo something) is nothing but arrogant, disrespectful, and rude. I will never go back into that store or any other Ace Hardware ever again and will suggest to my neighbors to do the same. Hey #acehardware go check your Google reviews.

Love ace. Prices closer to reality with cupons. Can't beat the convenience.

Went in needed a few things and the employee who helped me was very friendly. She located what I needed quickly. The cashier was training a new hire but it did not negatively affect my checkout. Overall they had what I needed, I got it quickly, and had a smooth transaction.

Needed a few things for the house, late in the evening. Ordered them online, and stopped in and picked them up lightning fast. Friendly folks, very helpful. They probably have what you need, and good advice. Recommended.
