Franklin's Ace Hardware

I used to really enjoy shopping at this Ace Hardware location and made it my regular spot for years. The store always had a welcoming atmosphere, and I could count on getting thoughtful, knowledgeable advice for my projects whether it was my frequent paint projects or finding hardware. Over the last two months, though, the customer service has noticeably dropped off. Visits now feel rushed and less helpful; staff seem disengaged, and I haven't received the same level of guidance or personal attention I was accustomed to. It's disappointing because that friendly, expert service was what set this store apart from the big-box chains and kept me coming back.

Such a well run store that has everything I am looking for, and then some.. Staff is friendly & always available to help in any way they can, and it’s conveniently close to my house. I find pricing to be competitive & the coupons they send out are a bonus. I highly recommend giving them a go & finding out for yourself that they are well supplied & ready to assist!

Stopped by for some firewood, the employee I asked about it wasn’t friendly at all and flat out rude. I was also very disappointed by their selection and pricing. $10 for a bundle of maybe 3 small logs. We opted to shop elsewhere as there are better priced options for larger quantities of wood that are also locally sourced.

Simple, know what you're building and know who can serve your needs best! Their store has the best layout for small parts, screws, nuts, bolts and if you're lucky - they'll have brands of gear that mostly are more money but quality stuff that corporate hardware stores can't - but Ace can!

Convenient place to shop and usually helpful staff, but they really need to update their price tags to their computer system. Last 2 times I’ve bought something there, it was rung up for more than advertised price. They honor the price but still shouldn’t happen so frequently.
