Our work with Fresh Start was top notch from start to finish. They provided the most detailed estimates up front, incredibly professional site and project management, and the ultimate transparency throughout the project. The work of FSC and their team is absolutely beautiful. We lived through a major addition - it never felt intrusive to us, and it never seemed to be a burden to them. Every contractor that was recommended to me came with a "they're great, but ...". There's no "but" with FSC. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

They brought the entire project in under budget and within the projected timeline, with excellent communication throughout. Their expert coordination of a multi-phase kitchen and bathroom remodel, and experienced navigation of Cambridge inspection processes, made everything go smoothly -- not easy when renovating a 170-year-old house that predates existing building codes. We partnered with Fresh Start to reimagine, redesign and renovate our unfinished basement. We had a purpose in mind for the space and leaned heavily on Fresh Start to design the layout then execute. We couldn’t be happier with the results and enjoy the space daily now. Fresh Start was able to secure permits for us (not an easy task for a space with low ceilings), design a layout of an oddly designed space then coordinate with masonry, plumbing, electrician, woodworking, and painting, etc subcontractors to execute that plan from June-Nov 2024. We first hired Fresh Start about 7 years ago to remodel our basement. They did an excellent job. We get so many compliments! (Shout out to our designer as well, Melissa Hammond Design). We went straight to Fresh Start when we wanted to remodel our bathroom last year. It was a big job because we wanted to move the plumbing requiring a soffit in our kitchen. The soffit looks seamless. We also needed to change the windows requiring additional construction inside and out. Their work is top-notch and they are very responsive if any issues arise.
