When we moved to Norfolk, the prior owner used Howie Oil in Millis and we continued to get our oil and service from them. They were a family-run company and we got great service from them. When they got older and retired, they sold the business to Jamie Oil . Things really went downhill from there. They were nonresponsive and couldn’t fix things the first or second time and wanted to charge for what they didn’t fix. We switched to Cronin and that was the best move we ever made. Cronin was even better than Howie. On the first service visit they replaced a bunch of stuff as part of our service package and our system has run quitter and more efficiently for many years. We have been customers of Cronin Oil since about 1990 when we needed a new burner for our older oil fired boiler in our first home in Norfolk. We compared pricing and went with Cronin Oil, in part for their competitive pricing but also for the reputation they had as a reliable supplier of oil offering excellent service.
