Garden State Sundek

Tom and his team at Sundek were fantastic. From beginning to end, Tom was very thorough and shared his thoughts on how best to resurface my pool deck and transparent on areas where there may be some challenges. His teams craftsmanship and knowledge of their product really shows (in my opinion this was the highest value add to my current backyard). Whilst I was primarily looking a resurfacing so that the concrete walking around on it barefoot wouldn't be so rough. Was also pleasantly surprised walking around it that it was not burning hot after baking in the Sun all day. As a bonus, Tom is knowledgeable on pools and was instrumental in helping me understand my pool equipment (was clueless before). There's nothing more important than a company that provides the services I contracted for and keeps their word a year later. The resurfacing of my patio that Garden State Sundek provided looked great from day one. However, I wanted to see how my deck stood up after the winter before posting my review. After removing my patio furniture for the winter, I noticed there were stained areas from the outdoor rug and grill. I also noticed a small area that needed repair. I sent the photos to Tom from Sundeck. He said he'd drop by after the winter to look at the patio. Tom claimed the stains would be easy to remove. The resurfacing of the concrete surrounding my pool is absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail and cautious effort in every aspect of the job really impressed me. The craftmanship exceeded my expectations. The Sundek material appears to be of high quality. Repairs to some minor cracks were expertly accomplished leaving no signs whatsoever of the blemishes that previously existed. These are hardworking people who clearly take their job quite seriously. Their pride in their work could not be more evident. I was frequently consulted as the job progressed, seeking my approval, addressing any questions I had. We are so happy with the results of the Sundeck product. There were 3 differ ent colors of concrete around the pool due to aging (pool is at least 35 years old). Thenconcrete had cracks, started to chip, and pipes had to be replaced. All resulting in different color replacement concrete. I investigated new concrete, pavers and coatings. Sundeck won out. Sundeck, Tom and his team, did a great job. They came in sealed the cracks, prepped the area, protecting all the plants around the pool. They work like a well oiled machine. It was impressive to watch the process. As you can see in the photos attached how great it looks. As an aside, while Tom and team were working, a man stopped by to talk with them. He said that he had Sundeck done 17 years ago and it was still looking great.

From start to finish the process was helpful, friendly, and professional. Tom the owner explained everything in great detail and the crew was exceptional. They delivered on every promise/detail. The end result was amazing and I would highly recommend Garden State Sundek to do your work.
