Gardens of the Wine Country

I hired Gardens of the Wine Country for a landscape project to finish off a pool renovation for the Lucas Valley Homeowners Association and was absolutely thrilled with the results, the process and the price! As a board member I volunteered to find a vendor for this project and didn’t have time to hassle with flakey contractors. Torrey and Gardens of the Wine Country were a breeze to work with, they did what they said that they would do. I met with Torrey and his foreman who did a tour of the property, conducting a thorough inspection of the site and irrigation infrastructure that was there. There we a number of irrigation components that were missing or broken that he identified in his walk through. He put a bid together that was comprehensive, detailed, and most of all price competitive

Gardens of Wine country has been doing yard maintenance for one year. Things started strong, but after a few months deteriorated. Eventually the +1hr weekly visits turned into 10-20min. Grass is looking very sad and hedges untrimmed. At one point apparently a new crew showed up and shredded my irrigation system while trimming some of the plants. My whole yard turned into a fountain! And they did not fix, just threw away the parts of the irrigation system they cut up. Communication with the owner and manager is sparse at best taking days for a reply. Only my cancelation got a quick answer. Maybe some of their other crews are better? But I can't recommend based on my experience.

Gardens of the Wine country executed an outstanding full home landscaping project for us. We were impressed with their attention to detail, communication and professionalism. In the end, they brought our full home renovation to life! Brian, Greenbrae
