Gatco

Bought the Gatco Model #5330 towel racks. I am very handy and mechanically inclined and have never come across such a cumbersome and inept installation design. The pair of screw holes are so close together that it endangered the integrity of the drywall. The hex set screw is so tight against the wall, turned endlessly and just fell out on 3 of the 4 anchors. The hex tool was poorly designed and more suited for a watch maker. It is truly amazing someone designed this and was paid for efforts. Buyer beware, and aviod this at all costs.

We have had Gatco towel racks for 36 years & they look as good as new. We needed a new bracket, a small part twice, now & some years ago. Both times Teng has worked to get me the parts I needed. His customer support & service has been outstanding. I highly recommend Gatco.

I recently purchased three Designer II towel bars and ring. As I was installing them in the bathroom, I noticed that one tiny tightening screw was missing from the last bar I was installing. I contacted Gatco and the person I spoke with immediately offered to send me a few replacement screws right away at no charge. It is entirely possible that I lost that screw during package opening; I did search for it, to no avail, so I do think it was just missing from the package. This is an example of great customer service and I will be a return customer. By the way, the installed bars and ring were a great fit to the bathroom -- and were easy to install.

Amazing customer service! I emailed their support and Aletha responded same day with advice on how to replace our missing hardware that our contractors misplaced. When we could not obtain replacements, they mailed it to us at no charge! Will definitely continue to look for Gatco products moving forward!

We installed Gatco hardware in our house in 2006. Few items got loose and needed new mounting hardware bracket. I called and they sent hardware, allan wrench and new bolts with thread locker on it for free. When they say guaranteed for life they really mean it!!! The hardware itself is beautiful and shows no sign of wear and tear after 15 years.
