Gate Crafters

By the previous reviews, it is obvious that Gate Crafters was a great company at one time. However, from my recent experience, that is no longer the case. I have been through a long 8 months of dealing with this company with nothing but headaches regarding our custom gate order. Gate Crafters has some great employees, like Bill, and they are great as far as ordering accessories. We had no issues at all ordering our gate opener. Unfortunately, they have big problems when it comes to honest communications and customer satisfaction regarding custom gate orders. We had been promised for five months that delivery was just weeks away, all while they were still advertising an 8-12 delivery window for new gate orders. Gatecrafters customer service 5 stars! I have been having an issue with my gate lock and have reached out to Tony several times for some guidance. Each time Tony has been more than helpful. Tony has always gone beyond what you might think you would get for customers service. Tony has worked with me off and on most of the day to resolve my gate lock issue. On a Saturday at that. Where can you get that kind of service now. I am super happy with my gate I purchased from Gatecrafters over a year ago now. Everything is holding up well. If you are looking for a great product and 5 star customer service look no further than Gatecrafters.

Online buyer here. Well, attempted buyer... Just tried to buy equipment, I am fully qualified to install but local suppliers jack the prices into the stratosphere, so I tried here because they have good pricing. Got caught in a bit of a hate loop within their procedures due to my business type billing address. Found their internal processes contradict themselves and make it technically impossible for me to actually complete the order... Too many red flags alone right there.

On 6/9/2025, I ordered a AES EL00M-K Domestic E-Loop Mini Wireless Exit Detection System from this company online. In short, I received it. Of course I wanted it, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it. So, I opened the package, installed the receiver, which is advertised to have a 150'+ range. I placed the transmitter approximately 100' away...no obstructions, no other metal, or any interferences. The product was calibrated and functioned sporadically at best. So sporadic, I e-mailed GateCraters and requested to return the item for refund. Their response, since it has been opened/installed, despite being defective, it cannot be returned or exchanged. Had some wiring issues with the installation of my replacement arm. 1st spoke with Mike who promptly got me in touch with the Tech Tony. The problem that I scratched my head about for 2 hours, Tony had solved in 3 mins and 1 picture of my control board. We are back in action! Thank you again from a satisfied customer.
