After calling several local electricians, I found someone who was not intimidated by the job I needed done. Most would not come out and one even wanted $100 to drive 3 miles just to look at it.. At ny rate, Scott came out pretty quickly diagnosed the problem. It was a problem with my entire breaker board. I had no idea what happened to cause this issue but Scott did the work in a professional manner and was very conscious of cleaning up and keeping the house the way he found it. In a matter of about two hours, the house was running at 100%. So if you need someone who is both knowledgeable, reliable and professional, I recommend Gateway and Scott. He is obviously not afraid to take on a job that is complicated, in my opinion.

I had a bad wall switch with a burnt wire that I did not trust myself to repair. It was repaired quickly and all circuits work as new. Highly recommend. Very professional.

My husband called Scott for a request to come out and check our electrical panel to see if it was up to industry standards to hook up a new electric hot water tank. Scott was available the same day he called and was able to come out and check the panel as well as check the area the hot water tank was to be installed. Scott was thorough and professional. Scott was easy to talk to and took the time to explain everything he was checking along the way and answered all our questions and concerns. He was able to give us an estimate if he were to come out and hook-up the electrical part of the hot water tank which we were impressed with the cost he would charge which was very reasonable. Scott even took the time to suggest how we might change out our electrical outlets with a cost saving suggest

Contacted Gateway yesterday - Was having some issues with a new house, wondering about insufficient power making it to appliances and breakers getting tripped. Scott showed up today on time, figured out where the issues were coming from, and was incredibly knowledgeable and customer-oriented. Even went out of his way to teach me a fair bit about what was going on. Can't recommend him enough - we just moved to Graham and plan to be here indefinitely, and as long as Gateway's around, I don't see myself ever going anywhere else for electrical work. Edit: Scott's come out for a few issues these past few years, and every time he's been friendly, helpful, informative, and quick. Most emphatic five-star review I can give.
