Gaughan Companies

This company is awful to work with! Do not hire them. They do not respond to emails, calls, or any problems that homeowners have in a timely matter. Usually takes months and months to resolve anything. If you show up to a Board Mtg to finally talk to the board and Property Mgr, you are basically told what you want to hear. Zero accountability, zero care. They have no idea what their vendors are doing because they are never on the property. Jennifer who is a property manager with this company is ineffective. Does only the bare minimum.

Predatory Company. Be careful to hire them. They manage the HOA for the community I live in. Poor response time and truly heartless. If you can stay away, Please Stay away.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Customer service is non existent. Jennifer is the property manager for my complex and she NEVER responds to voicemails/emails. I can call multiple times a day and she's always "away from her desk, at lunch or out of the office" absolutely impossible to get a hold of. I made a request to have my sprinkler in the front yard fixed as it does not work. My grass is completely dead. Finally after 2 months of me non stop calling/emailing (she ignored all of these until I left a voicemail saying I would visit the office in person) she had someone check it out. I was told the tree roots were pinching the water line and won't be fixed, so why am I still paying $375 HOA fee a month (water included) when I am not using the sprinkler system and they don't fix anything.

I have lived in several condos over the years. Gaughan Companies is the worst management company by far. No one at Gaughan is responsive to legitimate resident concerns. No response to calls or emails or texts. So I tried the general number for Gaughan. The phone rings and no one answers. Left a voicemail and no one responds. I hope they are held responsible for their gross mismanagement of our property, despite the fact they require payment of hefty management fees -- and do perform even the smallest responsibility for our condo. I cannot recommend them in any way.

This company has terrible customer service. I’ve repeatedly tried contacting them for several issues and no response. As residents of our association, we are told to follow our rules and guidelines but are unable to do so because of their lack of communication when timely issues arise. It seems that certain residents are able to do what they please and not be held accountable while others are fined for petty items. I am disappointed that we have this so called company managing our association.
