We recently finished our entire basement using Guy from GCM as our general contractor. We selected Guy based on his recommendations in a local mom's facebook group and his expertise with basement projects. The scope for our project was very large, including a bathroom, and Guy handled the permit process and various trades really well, saving us a lot of time and effort as well as the headaches that come from trying to orchestrate everything ourselves. He kept an incredibly clean/safe work area and held all of his crews responsible for the same. Guy typically kept us informed each day about who was going to be onsite and when the next day, which we also appreciated. Guy and his team at GCM took our completely unfinished basement and made it into a space where we can entertain, sleep, shower and store all our extra stuff. Oh and did I mention the ninja gym and play space for our kids! While we had ideas and a must have list when we started, Guy was able to take that information and design a space that gave us all those items and more. We worked with GCM to finish our basement recently. We are so happy with how it turned out and owe that to Guy. He did everything to code and handled the permits with our village which we appreciated greatly. He was very responsive throughout our project and kept to the original timeline. We love our new living space and our kids are enjoying the under the stairs fort Guy built for them. Overall we’d highly recommend GCM and would use Guy again for future renovations.
