Bob has done several jobs for us over the years. He recently finished a job that included a bathroom renovation. The renovation took months to complete and Bob was patient and always available when we needed him. He is professional, knowledgeable, and reasonable. Customer service is top notch. For example, Bob is very responsive when we call with questions or concerns and has even called several days after job completion to ensure that we are happy with the work. We recently hired a handyman to install two new overhead light futures in our upstairs hallway where multiple light switches controlled the same two lights. Unfortunately our handyman couldn’t be sure how to handle the many wires coming from the ceiling for each light. We appreciated the handyman for trying, but he ultimately suggested an electrician. We were going to wait until the next day, but when my son got home from his late soccer game that day, we noticed the electric in his room wasn’t working. I attempted to flip the switch back on from the electrical/fuse box in the basement myself and triggered an arch of electric. Gen-X responded to my electrical needs (installed an exterior light on house and motion lights on the south side of my house) in a polite and respectful manner. Bob from Gen-X also did attic work for me and was quick to explain what was done and cleaned up trash and debris immediately. All work was neat, clean and timely. He is your guy! I did have to wait a while for him to respond, but it was well worth it. I see why I had to wait- he definitely is in high demand.

I can not speak to this companies quality of work but I can review the way they treat their customers. This company was recommended to us by the contractor who is putting in our outdoor kitchen. They came to do an estimate at the beginning of November and gave us their price a couple days later. We sent them the deposit right away. They told us the job would be started in a week or two. We checked back two weeks later and they pushed the job into December. Then their was poor communication because we thought the job would be started the first week of December but the company never contacted us.
