Gene Piercy Roofing and Construction LLC

I gave Gene's Roofing deposit to replace roof. He cashed $4000 deposit on 4/30/2025. As of today 7/25/2025 he has done nothing. Won't show me invoice or receipts. I put a post on Facebook in "Let's Talk Burke County". His response was to threaten to take me to court to even see the invoice. Als o stated in same FB group that he didn't want to do my roof. Still won't give me back my deposit. Don't use this company. He also has a general contracting business.

Gene was initially professional and attentive. We replaced our entire roof. There was significant rot from previous leaks around a stone chimney. Gene replace the damaged decking/roof. After several rains, it was apparent that we still had leaks around the chimney. Gene unsuccessfully sent crews to the house several times. One (1) year later, we are still leaking and Gene no longer responds to calls. We are having to hire another contractor to address issues that Gene should have corrected long ago.

As part of our closing we requested several contractors give us quotes to replace our roof. Mr Piercy agreed he could do the job before we moved in. 7 weeks after moving in he still will not commit to a date to complete the job. Unprofessional and irresponsible. Stay away.
