Worth every penny. We used Josh and his team for our kitchen renovation and are beyond happy with the experience and end result. Scott was our lead contractor and he gave us an emailed update every day. Since we weren’t living in the house during the reno, this was so so helpful. The project was efficiently completed in just 6 weeks despite having to take a wall down and do lots of beam work in the attic. Josh and Scott guided us through some choice points and made sure we came on site for important decisions. We always felt confident in them and in their quality. Distinctive Carpentry is fantastic. Josh Nelson is honest, fair, detailed, knowledgeable, an excellent communicator, conscientious, and has a high work ethic. Those qualities extend to his staff and even sub-contractors. Our project was very complex and we, the clients, were certainly intimidated by the scope and level of decisions that had to be made. Josh was open to our research and ideas, provided us examples and options, and worked within our budget and the deadlines imposed by the bank loan.
