General Floor - New Castle

I purchased 5k worth of flooring in which I wasn't allowed to use my credit card so I could get my cash back rewards unless they charged me an extra 3% so I paid cash via debit card. Then when I finished the job I took back 6 boxes of flooring not knowing they would charge me 25% restocking fee. When I called the head quaters they told me to call the store manager. I called the store manager in newcastle de and I told him that I didn't know there was a 25% restocking fee and I asked if he could lower it to 10% or just give me a break this one time. The manager then said it was company policy and he couldn't change it. I think its bad business to just take people's hard earned money without proper notice. They should have a big sign stating a 25% restocking fee is our policy right in front

I was there today to pick out flooring as part of the restoration of my home due to an unfortunate water event. Angie helped me pick out roll vinyl, carpet, and some engineered hardwood. It was painless, and actually quite enjoyable. Angie was great! She had plenty of samples, explained differences (pro/cons), and was even willing to share her personal opinions (which I valued being a dude with no style). Cool place, good selection, and Angie... can't loose!

Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. Angie responded to all my questions in detail and helped me figure out exactly the right color scheme. I will never shop anywhere else for flooring.

I had my contractor go and order floors to match my existing floors that I purchased last year,They said to him they where exactly the same,so after they where installed we noticed they where very Similar but had a different look once they where installed,I called and complained they said that my original floors where discontinued and blamed my contractor,After making lots of calls I reached a manger and he said he would make it right,I have made multiple calls and text,They said they would open a case and send someone out to inspect floors and 4 months later they have not responded back,I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR FLOORING
