Genson Overhead Door - Syracuse

I can not say it loudly enough how wonderful of an experience it was to use Genson for my emergency overhead door needs. They were responsive and got me in on the same day to remove the emergency situation I had going on. They made the door safe for the night on and returned promptly the following Tuesday for a permanent replacement. Corey gets 2 thumbs up for his communication prior to arrival, while on site as well as follow up and general maintenance once the install was completed. He was prompt, friendly, courteous, efficient , knowledgeable and just overall provided a positive customer service. Great experience with Genson Overhead Door company. From the response from Doug the sales person to the installation. The installers were professional and did a great job on our garage doors

The garage doors look great. The two men worked all day taking apart my rotting garage doors and supports and replaced with new wood supports and the doors I ordered. They did a great job cleaning up too. I was very happy with the service. The doors took 8 weeks to arrive and one incorrect panel arrived. It’ll take another month to get the correct panel to arrive. Not Genson fault, they did an amazing job.

Problem exhibited over the weekend (one door refused to open or close under power). Called Monday 9:00 AM . Came early in the PM. Diagnosed problem promptly and fixed it. Reasonable cost for repairs. Great service!

I had called Precision garage doors. They advised me I need new springs, cable and rollers to fix my garage door at a minimum cost of $1,300! Wasn’t even for a new garage door. Rep wanted to do the work right then and there. Chose to get another opinion . Called Genson to get an estimate. They tightened the cable, added some missing bolts, and added a v bar to stabilize the track for it was too wide. The technicians were courtesy, informative and willing to education me without being pushy. Informed me there was nothing wrong with the wheels , cable wasn’t rusted and the spring needed to be loosened to balance out the door at a cost of $181.00. Guess who is now my permanent garage door company and whom I’ll be referring people to.
