I called in the morning because the radiator weren't getting hot. They came out the same day. About 2 hours after I called. Fixed the radiators and gave us a lesson on how to keep them working. Thank you for all the great service over the past few years.

Once again, if you can count on anything to be true, it's something in the house going down right before or during a big weather event. 6 months ago, it was my HVAC system during a heat wave. Now in late January before a snow event, my water heater goes down and leaking water everywhere. Anytime when time is of the essence, Bixler's have been a phone call away with next to immediate results. It's always a been a good experience working with this hometown outfit knowing that during a moment of crisis, they are not out to upsell you or add anything unnecessary. And for that reason, anything plumbing & HVAC, there is only one call to make.

. Lied about price. They gave a price $150 for the part and $90 for an hour of labor. Plumber called at 1221 saying he was enroute and arrived at 1241. Plumber replaced the part and left the house at 1301. When bill arrived I was charged $301.42. They added tax to the part which I was ok with but they charged me for an hour and a half for labor ( I was willing to pay for the hour of labor). I called and spoke with the secretary and I told her he was at my house for 20 minutes I have it on my doorbell camera. She told me that they charge from the moment they leave their shop to the moment they return to the shop (Shop is 4 miles from my house). She also explained that if they don’t have the part they charge while they are picking up the part. When I was not satisfied with that explanation

The tech that responded was professional and very nice, he explained to me what he was doing wile I was hovering over him. He quickly figured out there was no problems with the units but the new thermostats had been wired wrong, less then 200 dollars on a Saturday, he had the problem solved with in an hour. This was the second time we called on this company during an emergency.

Extremely pleased with service at a reasonable price. Our furnace gave out on a Friday (of course!) ahead of a predicted arctic blast. Bixler kept us warm over the weekend by supplying electric space heaters, then was at our door at 7:30 Monday morning to install our new furnace. We were warm again by shortly after noon. Fabulous!
