Gnr Excavating

Good part first: George showed up. So I credit him for that (the bar is low). It looks ok. The bad part: George has my $18,000 and I’m now finishing the job I paid him do. My main complaint is very simple: I needed a good gravel base put down for future steps, and for that I contracted for a certain amount (6’’) of gravel. That’s what my contract says. I got a skim coat (2.5''-3’’), nowhere near 6’’. And that is everywhere on the pad. You be the judge: if you sign a contract for something, should the contractor provide that, or is anything that looks sort-of similar ok? Nearly everything seemed to be a shortcut. GNR excavating is top shelf!!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! We had a major water leak that we could not handle on a Saturday and George came immediately over started work to fix our water system that serviced 42 units !!! You will not find better people anywhere! Very compassionate to our situation! We couldn’t be more satisfied and proud to refer him !! Extremely capable of any situation!!

Quick response for a quote,Showed up when he said he would, good communication, was helpful in fixing little snags along the way with the project and is just a nice guy to work with. If your on the ropes about hiring GNR for any excavating projects don’t be. They check all the boxes off. George is extremely knowledgeable and skilled and gets the job done right the first time. His communication is on point with keeping you up to date with the project progress and with any hiccups that he might come across. George is also just a really nice guy who’s concern is his customers and doing the job right. I hired GNR to install a whole new septic system last summer and George made the process extremely easy and smooth. Any concerns or questions I had he answered along with keeping me updated at every step. I highly recommend GNR!!!

Septic back up issue which turned out to be a gray water bypass of the septic tank. George of GNR Excavating took the lead on the issue got me a great plumber to replumb inside house plumbing which I really needed to have done to put all outlet plumbing to the septic tank which meets current regulation setup. Then George dug up the out side gray water line which was broken. once the work started it was done in 2 days. Very satisfied with the out come.
