Godbersen-Smith Construction Co

My 16 year old daughter & I passed a Godberson-Smith Construction Truck on New Highway 20, my daughter was eating her lunch. Just after passing my daughter made a comment about how uncomfortable "that" made her & that she was glad she wasn't driving alone. "That" turned out to be obscene gestures made to her by the employee driving the company truck. I called the company the first business day following the July 4th, I spoke to someone in management & with precise detail explained what happened. At that time he was empathetic, he assured me at the very least my daughter deserved an apology & the employee would be held accountable. He took my name & number telling me I would be hearing something from him. As of today (07/27/21) he has not gotten back to me. Inappropriate, unacceptable, & po

4-10-2019 Was driving behind one of this companies dump trucks near Floyd exit on I-29. Rocks were flying out of the back of their trucks tailgate and one cracked my windshield. Called Godbersen-Smith to get them to fix. They informed that they would do NOTHING to make this right. I would not do business with this company or anybody affiliated if that is the way they handle business. ZERO stars from me if possible.

Place is pathetic. They do road work and can't get it completed by a due date. But yet pull the crew off of a busy highway like 75 to work on a bike path. The sioux center city and the construction company should be ashamed of themselves. They should be fined daily for work not being completed

I have had a face to face conversation and also telephone communication with Project Manager J. M. and I was impressed by his professionalism and courtesy. Godbersen-Smith Contruction (from my experience) has very good public relations. I would also note that I was equally impressed by the close observation paid to safety.

Chases the dollar and does not care about their customers or look of final product.
