I am happy that I decided to go with Golden Retrofit to complete an EBB retrofit. They came, did they work efficiently with respect to my property, and cleaned everything up. I couldn't ask for more. They completed the paperwork, scheduled the inspection...easy peasy for me. I even appreciated when they gave me the initial appraisal without any lavish-praise, manipulation, etc. just checked out the area for the work to be done and gave an honest, reasonable estimate. In reference to the Earthquake Brace + Bolt (EBB) program, I was referred to Golden Retrofit by my general contractor. While the EBB program recommends obtaining at least three quotes before selecting a contractor, I expanded my search to four different companies. A majority of the companies I contacted requested full payment for the project, with the expectation that I would receive the EBB check. One company estimated a project duration of 3-4 days.
