I have people come into my house now and immediately walk up to any spot in my house touch the millwork and remark about the exquisite detail and workmanship Did I say detail? The details are what makes his work so remarkable, the attention to it is unsurpassed. It is truly impossible to describe. Michael has a unique blend of artistic and woodworking skills you won't find anywhere. He is patient, meticulous, creative and extremely professional. My wife and I hired Michael Kecskemethy to replace our staircase balustrade (bannisters, balusters and newel posts). In a word, his work was superb. He is a one-man operation, so he saved us money by doing all facets of the work himself (design, carpentry, wood work, metal work, painting, patching, trim, staining and varnishing), instead of our having to hire an array of different experts for each facet. Michael has top-level proficiency in all the tasks necessary to complete the job. He is thorough, meticulous, and has an uncanny attention to detail. Michael was absolutely amazing to work with. His depth of knowledge and craftsmanship is second to none. He is easy to work with and wants you to be happy with your project and will make sure you are. He offered great advice and solutions to problems we were trying to solve. He worked extremely well with the other contractors we had on site which is not always the case in our experience. Can't speak highly enough of Michael.
