Good Neighbor Tree Services

I called Good Neighbor Tree Service, (got the number from someone that really liked the job they did for them). the owner came within a few days and gave me a price for cutting down a huge split leaf maple and a large limb from a different tree that was hanging over my shed. They came within a week and they did a great job within a short time. I would not hastate to call them again if I needed any trees cut down. In my opinion, they went above and beyond!

Good Neighbor Tree Service removed several large trees on our property yesterday, and we couldn't have been more pleased with their work. We are situated on a steep side hill which I thought would make the tree removal difficult, but Ray and his crew handled it with both skill and ease. After removal, the crew cut it all up into lengths (three chainsaws going at once)...retrieved the logs which tumbled down the bank with some ginormous conveyance with claws, and brought them all back up the hill...then swept the driveway and cleaned up all the loose branches lying around and threw them into a chipper.... even dropped some major limbs hanging over a big hydrangea and a clump of daffodils without damaging a single thing. Friendly guy but I’m pretty sure he stole a healthy cherry tree from me and charged me for it without quoting me in advance. I blame myself for not having more courage to push back when he called me in the middle of my work day to describe the tree he thought needed to come down. I said yes over the phone, so it’s my own fault. But telling me it was rotted on the inside with no evidence of that in the stump. And then saying he had chipped it with no shavings left behind, seems a little fishy. He was recommended by a friend. So I thought I could trust him but I see the stump every day and am sad mostly that I lost a good tree but also for the incredulous amount he charged me without a quote. Again, I know I should have had more discretion, but that doesn’t mean he should take advantage of p
