Stop hesitating and go with Good Life Kitchens!:) We worked with Dermot 3 years ago on our SF Victorian kitchen remodel. Our kitchen is (imo) absolutely beautiful, highly functional - and even after 3 years we've had no issues with quality. The cabinetry and hardware is sturdy and the paint is beautiful. We picked Kraftmaid Lyndale shaker cabinets in Bonsai finish. The countertop + backsplash is from HomeDepot. Working with Dermot has been an absolute joy, he is very honest, pragmatic and helpful. Our experience with Dermot at Goodlife Kitchens was incredibly positive. I collected quotes from Lowes and Home Depot, in addition to a large local showroom, and was surprised by the high prices, even with "20%+ discounts" applied. Dermot's quote was thousands less without sacrificing the features that we wanted such as wide drawer lowers and pull-out, soft-close pantry shelves. He consulted on our design and even spoke with our contractor about installation when the time came. When we needed a replacement cabinet, Dermot had one rushed to us. We've been using our kitchen for about 6 months now and we're very happy with the quality. You won't regret this choice.

Just finishing a kitchen remodel. Dermot was very helpful from the beginning. We love the cabinets. And Dermot was easy to work with. He spent many hours helping us design the kitchen layout and provide the plans for our contractor. And was always responsive to questions that came up during the remodel process. A great experience.

Goodlife is just awesome. Working with Dermot (the owner) is a dream -- he has excellent design sense, he is a pleasure to work with, he always comes through, he stays on time and on budget. He knows how to give valuable advice and also how to take himself out of the equation, in just the right ratio. We took our kitchen down to the studs; the project remarkably cheap for what we got. And fast -- about 6 weeks from demolition to being able to cook again. I just can't say enough good things about Dermot and Goodlife.

Dermot really knows quality kitchen remodels and is great in sharing his wealth of knowledge and working with you throughout the process. He does things the right way and only the right way, and will not cut corners or sacrifice quality. Having his store, Goodlife Kitchens, close by is a huge plus. When you go there, you have his full attention and truly get the best kitchen for you and your home. That said, you don't even have to go to the store, as Dermott is great about meeting at your home with all sorts of materials and samples. I love my Goodlife Kitchen and very much appreciate that Dermot will answer my questions and help in any way, well after the project is done.
