Grainger Industrial Supply

These folks at Grainger have a great catalog and they talk a good game but every item I order has been left to sit for days and days on a dock somewhere. No one is responsible, Grainger could care less about getting the package delivered (they have their money), they use Averitt Express who self admit that they do not care about delivery timelines, and so packages sit and wait, and if you complain they have dozens of excuses why they are not responsible. I guess all of you pay Grainger so much money that they have no reason to move into the modern era of customer service and delivery timelines. AND, do not fall for the "Red Pass" scam, they charge you and tell you they will provide faster delivery but when you communicate with them they tell you the truth, its a SCAM.

Looked for a long time for a 8” bench grinding wheel. They said they could order one for $114.00. Went to Bottom Dollar Tool in Trenton and got a 8” Norton wheel for $8.00 and some cents.

Great staff Kelly was so helpful with the item I needed, she told me that it would have to be ordered but that it would be there by 1:00 the next day and she would call me as soon as it arrived. Well at about 11:20 this morning she called to let me know that it’s ready to be picked up and when I got there she unboxed it for me so I could make sure it was exactly what I needed. Then after I purchased it she even offered to carry it to my car for me. To me, that’s real customer service. Thank you Kelly

My boyfriend had to go to this location to pick up some supplies, while I was on the phone with him. The conversation he had with Michael at the location was the kindest conversation I have heard in a very long time. What stood out the most to me, Michael asked for his name and used it while conversing with him, he was very courteous, polite, and overall what you expect from a person working in a customer facing environment. Thank you Michael for making me smile just because of your interaction I overheard while on the phone with my boyfriend!

Have been totally impressed with the level of customer service that I have received, both on the phone and in person at the location in Chattanooga. They have always been very helpful and can answer all my questions! Thanks for everything!
