Grand River Granite

Daniel and Soren were a delight to work with. They were patient in answering any and all questions about the various materials and the installation process. I prefer to communicate directly with the artisans/craftsmen and Grand River Granite was the only place I visited in the Holland/Grand Haven area where that was the case. I don't find it helpful to look at 6x6 samples of granite, nor do I want to talk to someone who is a designer, not a craftsman. Daniel and Soren sent me to look at the showrooms in Grand Rapids where I could see entire slabs of granite. Once I found what I wanted, and once it was delivered to their workshop, the granite was in place within days of completion of the carpentry work that had to precede the granite installation. I cannot say enough about these two men. AWESOME is the only word that comes to mind. Their turnaround time on kitchen counters is 3 days. Yes, you read it right. 3 wonderful days. If you buy your counter where you buy your kitchen cabinets, after all the cabinets are in, you still have a 6 to 8 week wait for their people to come in and template it and then cut it and then install. That means the job site sits and waits until they finish. WOW, I don’t have that kind of time. I need my kitchen back together as fast as it can. Working without a kitchen in your home is hard as hell. They are quick, committed to their work, very helpful, and very kind. Thank you Daniel and Soren for all of your dedication and hard work .

We have had Soren and the Grand River Granite company do our granite counter tops (kitchen & bathrooms) at our previous home and our summer cottage. He is currently working on our next house project. He is an amazing stone mason - a true artistic craftsman. We recommend him without reservation.

Had GRG do our countertops probly 10 years ago now and I’m not sure why I didn’t post a review then but will now and have to echo ALL previous reviews as we were, and still are , very happy with the results.
