I went to the Saratoga Home Show yesterday looking for a company that could resolve an issue with a rust stain in a marble shower threshold. The representative of this company provided me with the business card of Margaret Roohan of Granite and Marble Works in Wilton, NY. I emailed Ms. Roohan providing her with pictures of the problem. What a pleasant surprise to receive a phone call from her the next morning recommending a product that I could use. She said she could send someone out to me but that would be an unnecessary expense for me as I could use this product myself. Next project requiring stone work....this is where I will shop...I appreciate and admire people who demonstrate honesty and integrity. Thank you Ms. Rooohan of Granite and Marble Works!!!

I can’t say enough positive things about Granite and Marble Works. After my recent experience with them, I will never even bother to look for granite or stone anywhere else. The selection to choose from was large and well organized with a map. Staff knowledge was incredible, and they were willing to help me think through what would work best in my space. I even had a conversation with the owner about finishes on cabinets, clearly not their line of business, but incredibly helpful to me in my decision-making process. When it came to actually map out which piece of stone would truly be coming to my house,I got exactly the piece I was looking for. My husband and I had a really wonderful experience with Granite & Marble Works. (We were working closely with Melanie and she was fabulous!) All of the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and were always available to answer my many questions. We love their huge showroom and there were several options that would have been perfect for our kitchen. (Best selection in the area!) We went with Cosmic Gold granite and it went perfect with our new cherry cabinets! The installers did a perfect job, especially with the seams, and everyone we worked with was professional and efficient. The pricing was also very fair! We will absolutely be using them in the future - highly recommend!

Small business that stands behind their work! For my 2009 kitchen renovation, they provided and installed granite countertops with a stainless steel sink. In Jan 2026, the sink slipped off it's brackets, rendering it unusable. When I called, I was quickly connected to the owner, who scheduled an appt for two days later. Workman was pleasant, knowledgable and thorough. Very pleased!!
