Grant Park Gateway - Car Park

Very beautiful views. I came to a different part of grant park previously and was excited to see that I had more to explore of this area. This side is closer to the zoo and the parking garage. There were all types of birds and nice architecture along the multiple paths that you can walk. There is also a covered area to stand under during the rain or maybe to give shade from the sun. The grass was sooooo green and I found myself stopping often to photograph the plant life.

It allows easy access to Zoo Atlanta. The garage uses lights above the parking spaces to indicate if a space is open, allowing you to find an open space quicker.

Clean and organized parking garage. Typical fare, nothing too crazy. Very nice walking area for pedestrians. Easy to navigate with a large car.

Some neighbors (including my family) used the garage for overnight parking when we had the big storm coming in that called for hail and potential tornado. Many of us dont have garages. The ownership noticed and provided us special pricing upon exiting so we didn't need to pay full cost. Really appreciate them doing that - thank you! Also, if you can find a garage that is more discreet and with better green space and views in the city, let me know

My car broke down in the parking deck and the attendants went above and beyond to help me. They let me leave it parked there overnight and then helped troubleshoot the issue the next day to try and get it running again without needing to call for a tow. When we couldn't get it to push start, they helped me push it to the lower exit and opened the gate for the tow truck to pick it up (thus avoiding me having to call a specialized snatch truck that could fit into the parking deck, which would have cost more money). They were very kind and helpful during a stressful situation and I appreciate it immensely.
