Tobias and his team did a great job designing and installing the landscape in our front and back yard! When we finished updating our deck, we were left with a big gravel pit. Tobias installed metal edging, sod, and dirt before planting. He was so thoughtful and made sure to choose plants our whole family would enjoy. We are excited to see everything flourish this spring!

I really appreciated the Grassroots work on my landscape design focusing on my side and backyard oppirtunity. .I had struggled to determine how best to complete plantings and establish addition erosion control areas for the steep slope spots add plantings that would thrive in those locations as well as how to spruce up my side yard with an expanded dry river bed. I hoped to create a more natural landscape with low maintenance plants and add interesting plants, rockery and steps into the hillside. He was great answering questions and coming up with solutions that fit within my budget and vision. Loved the attention to detail such as numerous succulents planted among the boulder retaining wall. Would highly recommend!!

Tobias Schwind, the owner of the company, is an artist who puts in the hard physical work too. He has an excellent eye for which plants and trees will do well and where they should be placed. He is especially good with native flowering plants that are deer resistant. He and his crew are good with stone and sprinklers as well. In four days, Grass Roots contoured the corner of our lot, added ground cover and planted numerous young plants. We requested only native plants. We wanted plants that would improve privacy, so we're hoping these will do so after they've grown for a few years. The area looks much nicer than it did. Comparing images taken about 50 years ago with those taken more recently indicate that the area received little or no care since the time the house was built. So, there was a considerable amount of planning and work to be done. Tobias and Patrick were friendly, conscientious and clearly seemed to enjoy their work. We appreciated their enthusiasm and creativity. EDIT: A third photo was added August 5th that shows the addition of a border for the path. The more than 200 blocks were from Lowe's and
